Did you know that every time you purchase a new mat mat disadvantage is its viscosity does not need to?

When your mat to the point where nothing stick now and cut your paper when you try to just move around is to be, this "re stickify" to the time (is that a word ?) your mat. This is a very simple process and how well it works you will be amazed at!

• Step 1 - Take your sink to your mat. Some hot water a few drops of dish soap and a green Scotch Brite scrubbing pad use. Clean your mat under hot water. Start small pieces of paper and dirty sticky grime you see will start to come out. You also come to your scrapper Cricut tool kit will help you as well as some off the gunk that can use scraps. Keep scrubbing until all that extra layer of gunk is gone. Depending on your mat, all plastic with no stickiness left or still may be a small amount of stickiness to strip down the way it can. Either way is fine.

• Step 2 - Then you either go airdry it or want to use your blow dryer. Use a towel to dry it because it will leave behind lint.

• Phase 3 - for about an hour that's airdry. The Rock and Roll remodel. I have Matt over and over again.

• Step 4 - Next, take a broad-tipped pen ZIG 2 way glue and the glue lines are applied across the mat.

• Step 5 - at least 1 hour before applying to top transparent sheet to dry it.

I used the same technique with the other adhesive, but adhesive pen like Zig 2 I like best. It leaves you sticky mat, but not as sticky as when it was new. Just right!

Although I have to say that there comes a point when your mat will not have to be retired. If the edges start curling up, it will affect how it rolls through the machine.

In between, you're stickifiying "baby wipes or lint and the lint roller to remove light dirt can use.

** Please note that this will void your manufacturer's warranty on your Cricut machine. Having said that, for only one year warranty on your Cricut, so if you have had more than 1 year, it will not matter anyway.
